Beatrice has undergone a body-on restoration, but I continue to improve her. This is a report of the progress I am making in continuing the restoration.

03/28/24 Parts have been cleaned, primered and painted. The front end is being installed. The reverse eye spring fits nicely.
03/28/24 Got the front end assembled today with steering arms, brake rods and shocks. Tomorrow front brakes will be installed.
Installed the new tail lights and pulled new wires.
I added a new taillight to the right side. Life started as a standard. Now it will be a deluxe.
03/30/24 Got the front back plates on and pulled together front brake parts. Need to order more parts Monday before I can proceed. Need to align the toe. Short work day today.
They said it couldn't be done. I removed the rear bumpers. The body sits on top of the frame and the rear bumper brackets are bolted to the top of the frame under the body. I discovered a small gap, inserted my endoscope and figured out how to do this. The first side took me two hours. The second side took me 2 minutes. I had to make a special tool to get this done. Yahoo. Beatrice is now bumperless.
03/03/24 It's Christmas at the Rose Hot Rod Shop. Now more work begins.
4/5/24 This is the original color of the car. It looks like a Apple Green. Not sure. Apple Green was a color option for this car.
Meet my friend Randolf Schwerdt. He is retired USAF, retired commercial pilot and has been working on Model A's for over 50 years. He is very talented and knowledgeable.
04/12/24 The brakes are finishing up.
The front brakes are assembled and ready to go. Everything part is like new or better than new.
04/15/24 The car is on the ground again. Notice that the leaf spring eye has been reversed and two leaf springs have been removed. The bubbles on top of the leaf springs are seats for nylon buttons that space between each spring.
Normally there are 9 leaf springs. I have 7 springs and the metal is a softer more playable grade of metal.
With the modification to the front spring, the front end is lowered 3". I will eventually do the same to the rear leaf springs.
04/16/24 Now I am working toward removing the engine.
